The Kids Club House comes complete with single door, antique hinges and handle and includes a 10" diamond window in the door.

Also includes an internal bunk bed with safety rail, ladder and hand rail.

Four front acrylic Georgian windows and functional dorma window. Finished with profiled fascias and 3' veranda.

We do not use chipboard or sterling boards to cut costs in our buildings.

We use a 20kg grey mineral felt on our standard sheds with an option to upgrade to 38kg grey felt for more protection.

All our buildings are treated both internally and externally before delivery and installation is made, we do however recommend that you treat the building within 3 weeks of purchase, we recommend Sadolin Classic which is available in over 40 colours from any Crown Decorator Centre. All timber on our website are not nominal sizes, this means the size of the timber after it has been machined. i.e Nominal 16mm becomes 12mm when finished. There can be a slight variation of up to 1mm either way, this is outwith our control.

Please note: Cladding and Flooring - 16mm becomes 12mm, 19mm becomes 15mm and 22mm becomes 18mm.
Framing - 50mm x 38mm becomes 44mm x 32mm, 50mm x 50mm becomes 44mm x 44mm and 75mm x 50mm becomes 70mm x 44mm.

Battens - Please see section 'Before Buying A Playhouse' regarding the purpose of the battens. We suggest one batten per 2' length of building plus one, so four battens for 6' and 5 battens for 8' etc. However on buildings more than 10' we recommend a further extra batten ie 7 battens for 10' and 8 battens for 12' etc.

The Base
A good strong level base is as important as the building itself. If the base is not strong enough or level (especially the diagonal levels) the building could twist causing damage to the roof, broken windows and jammed doors.

We would thoroughly recommend you consider investing in a proper base made from slabs or concrete.

The purpose of the base is two-fold, first to take the weight of the building and not move once the building is erected avoiding windows breaking and doors jamming and secondly to seal off the ground and prevent moisture evaporating up through the floor. A good base can add years to the life of any building. We do have a landscape gardening contact who can do this for you if required.
