When comparing prices of a 'net bag' of logs please be aware. There are a large number of different sizes of 'net bags' on the market and we have discovered many suppliers are using bags much smaller than our 45cm x 70cm bag which can hold over 80%, or over 150% more logs than many of the net bags available on the market today.
Net bags are more difficult to assess as they usually don't have a gussett and what they can hold depends very much on log length, log width and stretchability.
Some suppliers described their bag in litres, which we have found to be unreliable and misleading. This is again due to the bag having no gusset. You are taking a 2 dimensional size, filling it with logs to create a 3 dimensional size with only the same amount of net material.
For these reasons we feel the only fair way is to compare the size of the bags before filling and we notice that most good firewood websites are now declaring the size of their net bag before it is filled.
When you take all this into account you will see you get much more value for money from our net bags.
