Just before delivery, the finished cut logs, which are approx 8 to 10" in length, are then hand selected and placed into the builder's bags and other pack sizes before being delivered to you the customer.
Helmut Seidel, shown in the picture, passed away in 2008 and has been sadly missed. He worked for the estate for nearly 20 years since retiring from coal mining.
He was a tremendous asset to the estate and his hard work and dedication was very much appreciated. He took great pride in maintaining the large acreage of beautiful lawns as well as any other task he was asked to perform.
This year his family planted a rowan tree overlooking the lawns so that his memory will live on in Champfleurie for many years to come.
