These logs are from newly cut trees with a cellular moisture content of around 75% and will require to be kept in a suitable log store for between 12 to 18 months until they are seasoned down to around 20%.
If you prefer to season your own logs then these freshly cut logs will save you having to scramble around your local woodlands risking life and limb with a chain saw gathering wood fuel!
Very large capacity Double Giant recyclable builder's bag (approx 700-800 kilos depending on cellular moisture content) of green, unseasoned, hardwood logs.
Cut to between 8" and 10" in length.
Note:- This is a large bag about 6' tall and weighs nearly three quarters of a ton. It is important that you understand our carrier uses 20-30 ton vehicles and is contracted to deliver it to the kerbside, however most drivers will do their best to get the pallet as close as possible to your property as long as the ground is even and not on a slope.
It may well be in certain circumstances you may have to topple the bag and transport the logs yourself by barrow or other means into your log store etc.
For delivery over 25 miles the only viable option is the Double Giant Bag, the price of which includes the delivery charge anywhere on the UK mainland.
If you normally mix logs with coal why not try our briquette logs to replace the coal.
To get that fire going easily don't forget to buy some kindling.
