We were delighted to receive this award at a reception in Houston House, Uphall on Thursday 25th September 2008.
The judges acknowledged our efforts to reduce the environmental impact of coal, gas and oil by encouraging the consumer to turn to burning wood as a means of heating their homes.
By preventing over 3000 tons waste timber annually being sent to landfill and producing a number of products including wood fuel logs and woodchips as well as heating Champfleurie House, Champfleurie Estate was recognised as having made a considerable contribution towards the reduction in carbon emissions.
